Data & Privacy Policy 

This Data and Privacy Policy describes how Antler Interactive AB (hereinafter “Antler Interactive”, “we”, “us” or “our”; Centralplan 15, 111 20 Stockholm, company registration number 559062-0687) processes personal data in the capacity of a Data Controller relating to you as an End User when you access and play our Games. 

Please read this Policy carefully.

  1. WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS AND WHY

    Your personal data is primarily used for the purposes of providing you with the Games, improving our Games, services and communication. Your personally identifiable interactions with the game will not be sold. We respect your privacy and use personal data with moderation in our initiatives. 

    When you access and play our Games you share three types of personal data with us: 

    1. Personal data such as your name, email address which we need in order to be able to register your account for our Games. The personal data that you share when you register an account for our Games helps you create your profile. You can change the privacy settings according to the Game/Platform specific privacy settings. Your profile information, as well as your progress and imagery, may be displayed to people in the networks specified in these privacy settings to enable you to connect with others.

    2. Game use information, such as your access code type, your game progression stats and hardware compatibility, is processed as you interact with our Games, for the purpose of providing you with the right service and offer you personalized settings.

    3. Financial information, which we only use for the purpose of processing payments. 

    We will occasionally send you announcements regarding the Games, our products and services and/or business that may be of interest to you. This includes sales offers and advertising regarding our Games, products and services, including new product placements in Games. You can always opt-out of receiving offers and advertising through our mailing list settings. This will limit your involvement in the processing done for the purposes of direct marketing. 

    Antler Interactive may also collect information about you from other publicly available sources, such as newspapers, blogs, instant messaging services, and other End Users or Game Platform developers to supplement your profile and the Game’s services. This is commonly done when reading and replying to reviews or discussions about our Games, and it is done for the purposes of us replying more directly in order to provide you with unique information or a more personalized experience.

    Antler Interactive does not use automated decision-making when processing personal data relating to you.

  2. LEGAL GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING

    When you register to access and play our Games, you accept our [Terms of Use]. In order to provide you with our services and Games, we must process the personal data stated in a), b) and c) above, which means that our legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract we have with you. When it comes to financial information described above in 1(c), we also have a legal obligation to process and store such data for a certain amount of time. 

    When we send you sales offers, announcements and advertising as described above, we use legitimate interest such as watch list sign-ups, or user profile check boxes, as a legal basis for that processing. You may opt-out of this at any time by changing your mailing list status, or by reviewing any checkboxes related to your profile or game settings. In other cases, you may be part of an advertising audience that has shown interest in similar games or services. We also use legitimate interest as a basis for collecting information about you from other sources in order to be able to provide you with a better experience.

  3. WHO WE SHARE PERSONAL DATA WITH

    Antler Interactive transfers, discloses and shares your personal data with partners, affiliates and third parties engaged by Antler Interactive specifically to handle and deliver certain activities necessary to operate the Game (e.g., processing orders and payments etc.). These third parties, listed in the table below, only have access to personal information needed to perform their functions. Additionally, in the event of a corporate reorganization (e.g., all or substantially all of the assets relating to Antler Interactive are transferred or sold to another entity), personal data submitted to Antler Interactive may be transferred to the acquiring entity. 

    International transfers

    We store personal data relating to you on servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google (Drive), which may constitute an international transfer of personal data. Some personal data is processed on workstations in our Stockholm Offices.

    We store personal data relating to you for as long as you have a profile at Antler Interactive.

  5. COOKIES AND WEB BEACONS

    When you visit our website or our affiliated pages, as well as when you enter our Games, we use cookies to identify your browser type and IP address etc. A cookie is a tiny text file that is sent to your computer, mobile device or other device that you use to access our services. A typical cookie contains a unique identifier called a cookie ID, which is a string of characters that websites and servers associate with the browser on which the cookie is being stored. This way, cookies help us recognise your device next time you access our website.

  6. SECURITY

    In addition to cookies, Antler Interactive uses a variety of technical methods for tracking purposes, including web beacons and game or event-based data points etc. Web beacons are small pieces of data that are embedded in images on pages or emails about the Game and used for the purposes of collecting information on usage, response, traffic patterns in the Games such as the frequency with which End Users access various parts of the Game etc. These technical methods may involve the transmission of data either directly to us or to another party authorized by us to process this data on our behalf. 

    We endeavour to keep your personal data secure and confidential. While there is no such thing as perfect security, Antler Interactive implements appropriate security measures to make sure that your data is safe. For example, we take the following technical measures to keep your personal data protected: 

    • Unity Unique Device identifier, and save data, is handled by your platform account.

    • The servers we have your data on use SSL encryption, or Rest API tokens for access.

    • Backups of game files and build compatibility versions are secured via Git solutions.

    • User verification login is required when accessing admin websites or Git interfaces. 

    Finally, our employees and service providers are contractually bound to keep your personal data secure and confidential, consistent with this Policy, and kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. 

    Antler Interactive cannot control the actions of other End Users or other persons who play our Games. Therefore, Antler Interactive and/or the platform/service provider cannot and do not guarantee that your account will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. The security of your personal data also depends on your protection of your user account. Please use a unique and strong password and keep your login credentials secret. Also, be sure to log out after having used our services from a shared computer. Antler Interactive and the platform/service provider are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained in the Games by any party. This also includes software modifying our intended game launch mode.

  7. YOUR RIGHTS

    You have the right to request information and access to the personal data we process about you and to request that we correct inaccurate personal data or complement incomplete personal data where necessary. Furthermore, you have the right to object to processing or request a restriction of the processing as well as to request erasure of your information.     In your requests regarding your personal data please state your full name or storefront user identifier. Note that you should sign the request to receive information of the processing of your personal data yourself. To process your requests regarding your personal data, we may ask you to provide additional information to verity your identity when we have reasonable doubts as to your identity or we are unable to verify it on our own.

    You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority if you think that our processing of your personal data infringes applicable law. You can find the contact details to all EU Supervisory Authorities here.

  8. CHANGES

    Antler Interactive reserves the right to make changes to this Policy at any time. If we do, we will notify you by our webpage.
